(Pulls 01 thru 04)

NOTE

Two changes to points this season:

  1. Dogs that do not pull do not contribute points; and
  2. Dogs that change ownership retain their points with the old owner (and qualify for medals and championship invitation) and start with zero points with the new owner.

E R R O R S

Pull 2, Corapeake, NC

80# -The last two dogs, Repent & Red Sky, were reversed on the finish report.  Assuming the numbers are correct and organizer just wrote them down in the wrong order.  Repent finishes 5th, and Red Sky 6th.

Assumptions

Bulldozer – Region 5, Donna Libbey.  Handled dog named dozer at Boontown 9/1.  Assuming it was Bulldozer.

MEMBERSHIP ISSUES

Instead of just assuming memberships, I am carrying this as a reminder that we have some issues to resolve.  If you are on this as a “membership not assumed”, besides not acquiring pull points, you are probably not getting the newsletter either

New Issues

Memberships Not Assumed

The following were marked as members on the organizer's report.  Membership has no record and the individuals are assumed Provisional until confirmation. Their pulls will become valid if membership records their join date as on or before the pulls in question.

·         Phillip Powell was listed as possibly a member at the Boontown Season Opener September 1st.  However, Membership shows no record of him having joined as of 17 September.  Assuming provisional at this time.

Memberships Assumed

The following individuals apparently joined at a pull (shows in the organizers financial report).  Their membership was assumed with the date of the pull, but is still being watched until the membership chair has received the paperwork.

·         Cortney Wampler apparently joined family as a new member at the Boontown Season Opener September 1st.  Assuming a member until decided by Membership.

·         Shane Smith apparently joined individual as a new member at the Boontown Season Opener September 1st.  Shane has previously pulled provisional.  Assuming a member until decided by Membership.

·         Aaron Dill apparently rejoined individual at the Boontown Season Opener September 1st.  Assuming a member until decided by Membership.

·         Phillip Dill apparently rejoined individual at the Boontown Season Opener September 1st.  Assuming a member until decided by Membership.

·         Ricky Stevens shows on the financial sheet as joining individual at the Selah Weight Pull 9/7, and he handled that day.  Membership has him as joining 9/8.  I am assuming the 7th until resolved by Membership.
