Errors and Corrections on My End

Pull 58 as posted on the web 16 March was missing the 35# class as they were not in the packet I received. They are now there.

Pull 70 (Gates, NC). Metric weights were used in some of the weight classes and the conversion to pounds was expressed to one decimal place. I am only set up for an integer at this time. I rounded to the nearest integer.

Requested Changes

Jim Agnew took ownership of Rhino (Marielle Schmidt’s dog) in February. Rhino now appears twice in the database under different owners for the different time periods. I don’t remember if he is not eligible under Marielle, but it is not relevant as he is last of 10. Under Jim, he started anew acquiring points in March.

Changed Zeana (Charlie Johnson’s dog) to Zena.

Pull 48, Leavenworth, WA

Robin O’Hearn was listed as Region 2; is Provisional

Pulls 49 & 50, Cheyenne, WY

No dog regions were listed, nor a region for the pull.

Pull 55, Spanaway, WA

Thunder, Quincy, Shadow, Alex, and Ringmaster were listed as region 2 on the finish report, but showed as Provisional in the Financial report. They were assumed Provisional.

Larry weighed in at 68 pounds, but was listed in the 100 pound class. Assuming recorded in the wrong class as they were run together. Larry will appear in the 80 pound class.

Pull 63, Downingtown, PA

Goldie by Melissa Swoyer was listed in the Unlimited Class with a Dog weight of 120. Owner stated Goldie had been weighed twice and was 121 the 2^nd time. Verified with organizer. Goldie is now listed in the Unlimited with 121 pounds.

Bliss was listed as region 6, but Jimmy Barton (handler/owner) is shown as provisional on the financial report.

Tux was listed as region 6; should be 5.

Pull 71, Greeley, CO

Robin Anderson was listed as Provisional on the Financial form and region 3 on the pull sheet. I went with provisional.

Pull 75, Greeley, CO

35# Class. Penni and Two Dogs pulled the same weights, and Two Dogs was 0.3 seconds faster than Penni. They were listed in the reverse order on the pull sheet.

Name Assumptions

For the following entries, the name spelling (bold) used is that in the database. Listed is the pull number and how the name was spelled on the pull sheet (underlined).

Kiauna – pulls 49 & 50, Cheyenne,. Kianana

Yakima Chief – pull 55, Spanaway, Chief. In cases like this, it would be awfully easy to add the dog Chief. Please make sure you use the full name!

Magic – pulls 58 & 59, Corapeake,. Majic
Asked Toni which it should be. It is now Majic.

Baily – pulls 58 & 59, Corapeake, Bailey

If Magic should be Majic, or Baily should, be Bailey; let me know. They go into the database as first seen.

Angus – pulls 60 & 61, Greeley, Red Angus

Red Angus – Seeing this name more than Angus. Changed to Red Angus in database.

Assumptions

Yoshi – Region 9, handled by Terry Reed at Estes Park. Had assumed a new dog; but could be Burke’s dog. Terry confirmed.

Tacoma – Handled by James Galli. Assumed this is the James Galli from Chico, CA. Pulled at Yakima, WA and was listed as region 2; should be 10.

Shannon Turner – Assuming Shannon Dodds as per Todd Pederson’s clarification.

Shamee – Owned by Jacki Wakefield. Changed from Shamie as this is how Jacki spelled his name on her pull. Also changed her name for Jackie due to her report.

Bolo or Bob? – Charlie Johnson pulled him and Zeana at Downingtown. Looked like Bob on the sheet. Later Charlie pulled Zena and Bolo at Guilderland. I assumed they were the same dogs. Changed the name to Bolo. Left Zeana. Later talked to Charlie and changed Zeana to Zena.

Speckles – Pulled at Kalkaska in 80# class by Ralph Swoyer. Assumed Steve Jackson’s dog, as Steve pulled two other dogs in that round.

MEMBERSHIP ISSUES

Instead of just assuming memberships, I am carrying this as a reminder that we have some issues to resolve. If you are on this as a "membership not assumed", besides not acquiring pull points, you are probably not getting the newsletter either
