Todd & Tina Pederson’s move from Suffolk Virginia to Corapeake North Carolina (about 15 miles) has also moved their region from 6 to 7.

Pull 11, Suffolk, VA

Speckles pulled 900 lbs in 102.82 seconds. That’s a minute and 42 seconds. I assumed it should be 62.82 seconds.

New Dogs
Almost all dogs are going to be new this year. I will only list the questionable dogs here (looks like they could be the same as someone else's dog).
Name Assumptions

For the following entries, the name spelling (bold) used is that in the database. Listed is the pull number and how the name was spelled on the pull sheet (underlined).

Kiauna – Steve Riggs dog. Was entered as Kauna at pull 3 and as a Malamute. Pull 10 had Kiauna and mixed. The latter is what we had last season. I will stay with Kiauna and Mixed; unless I hear otherwise.

Brand Ratcliffe – This is how he shows in the membership list; but he was listed as Brad on the pull report. Brand or Brad? Let Todd Pederson know which is your correct first name and verify the spelling of your last name.

MEMBERSHIP ISSUES

Instead of just assuming memberships, I am carrying this as a reminder that we have some issues to resolve. If you are on this as a "membership not assumed", besides not acquiring pull points, you are probably not getting the newsletter either.

Memberships Not Assumed
The following were marked as members on the organizer's report. Membership has no record and the individuals are assumed Provisional until confirmation. Their pulls will become valid if membership records their join date as on or before the pulls in question.

The following individuals apparently joined at a pull (shows in the organizers financial report). Their membership was assumed with the date of the pull, but is still being watched until the membership chair has received the paperwork.

Tim & Marcia Long (R9) renewed at the Greeley pull on 18 Oct 97.

Fred & Hazel Jenson (R9) were listed as members at the Greeley Pull (18 Oct 97). They were not on Todd’s last list; but Dixie has indicated she got their check. I am keeping them on this list until they make Todd’s list.

Cory Van Winkle apparently joined at the Luxton pull (13 Sept 97). Pull organizer, Mike Skene, concurs.

Rick and Kelly Williams (R9) apparently renewed at the Casper pull (20 Sept 97). Pull organizer, Kay Bramson, concurs.

Memberships Not Assumed

I will quit carrying these on the next newsletter if there is no change.

Lagace Stephane was listed as a member at the Rideau Lakes pulls (27-28 Sept 97). We have no record.

Mark & Lisa LaBrecque (or LaBrecave) of region 5 were last year members and listed as members, but we have no record of renewal.

Paul Hilgendorff (R5) was listed as a member at Round Top (5 Oct 97), but we have no record yet of joining (nor was he a past member).
